Sun Naizhong, born in Longkou City, Shandong Province in 1933, came to Hulunbeier City, Inner Mongolia in 1940. The name of Yuanmeng Academy is Yisan, nicknamed Yuanmeng Centennial. Since childhood, he likes Chinese traditional calligraphy and loves brush calligraphy.
In 2014, he participated in the National Chinese Dream Calligraphy Competition for the first time and won the silver medal. In 2015, he won the gold medal in the National Calligraphy Competition of "Anti-Japanese War Ode to Patriotism and Strengthening the Country". In 2016, he won the gold medal in the National Competition of Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of War of Resistance against Japan's Victory. In 2016, he won the gold medal in the National Competition of Commemorating the 20th Anniversary of Hong Kong's Return. In 2017, he won the gold medal in the national contest to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army in China; in 2017, he won the gold medal in the national contest of calligraphy and painting for public welfare to meet the victory of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China; in 2017, he was shortlisted in the China Cultural and Art Industry Directory; and he won the Outstanding Contemporary Artist of China Dream in the national calligraphy contest of China Dream. In 2019, he was awarded the title of "Model Person for the 70th Anniversary of the National Day" by China Painting and Calligraphy Chunyi Film and Television Park, and was invited to serve as the liaison minister of the Organizing Committee of Starlight Film and Television "Model Person on the List and Brand Giving Ceremony for the 70th Anniversary of the National Day"
